Dr Andy Chen is currently a postdoctoral fellow working on the genetics of Fusarium wilt resistance in bananas. He is a member of Elizabeth Aitken's lab taking part in a large collaborative project to improve the quality of bananas in the eastern African region. This project is funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
