Dr Crew joined the plant virology group after completing her PhD in Plant Physiology in 2004. Since then, she has worked on a range of crops including banana, passionfruit, rhubarb, sweetpotato, garlic, chilli, pasture grasses, to detect, identify and characterise viruses and improve field management of the diseases they cause.
